Thanksgiving for our guests at Fort Collins Rescue Mission looked a little different this year. We were deeply saddened we couldn’t have our formal banquet, but were able to provide a traditional Thanksgiving meal despite everything that is happening in the world.

Our wonderful food services team worked hard to prepare a traditional Thanksgiving meal for our guests staying at the Blue Spruce Temporary Shelter. We couldn’t have provided this meal without the generous support from our frontline staff, our volunteers and the community. From handmade decorations for each table to freshly baked pies from Ginger & Baker; the spirit of gratitude was evident—boundless.

We look forward to the day when we can freely commune together again. But, while we wait for that glorious day to come, we remain thankful and always look to Christ as our source of strength and hope.

“And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Ephesians 5:20 (NLT)

Our Mission family is wishing you and your loved ones health and happiness this holiday season!
