The Harvest Farm Fall Festival is one of our favorite and most impactful ways to connect our community with our New Life Program participants, but it was highly important to prioritize the health and safety of the community, our employees and everyone who helps put the Fall Festival on.
With an abundance of caution surrounding the current state of COVID-19, we made the difficult decision to cancel, what would be, the 19th Annual Harvest Farm Fall Festival—previously scheduled to take place Oct.2nd – Oct.31st, 2021. This was a tough call to make as the Fall Festival serves as a staple event for Northern Colorado. However, safety has and will continue to be our top priority.
Despite the challenges of the pandemic, lives continue to be transformed and renewed on Harvest Farm. New Life Program participants are choosing recovery and maintaining their sobriety even amidst a pandemic. Their resiliency is inspiring, and we are encouraged daily by their braveness.
Since January 1, 2021:
- 29 graduates of the New Life Program so far
- 58 of all participants have obtained employment
- 46 of all participants have obtained stable housing
- 93% of graduates have remained in housing after one year
Other life-changes our participants are making:
Learning to responsibly handle their finances by identifying debts, creating budgets, building a 3 month’s expense Emergency Fund, and opening savings accounts. Many are growing their community by engaging in chaplain approved small groups or attending a church within the community.
We remain hopeful and look forward to welcoming our amazing community, supporters, and friends back to Harvest Farm in 2022.
