While we are still weeks away from Thanksgiving, Fort Collins Rescue Mission is already preparing for our holiday banquet today! For men and women experiencing homelessness this is more than just a Thanksgiving meal— it’s also an opportunity for our guests to feel supported and cared for during the holiday season.
We plan to serve around 200 meals at our Thanksgiving banquet on Tuesday, November 26. But first, we need your help in collecting the items below as soon as possible.
Items Needed For Our Fort Collins Thanksgiving Banquet
- Turkeys
- Brown Sugar
- Canned green beans
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Butter/margarine
- Frozen dinner rolls
- Celery
- Onions
- Dried cranberries
- Fresh cranberries (we only need 10 bags of these!)
- Oranges
- Cinnamon
- Cloves
- Nutmeg
- Frozen pumpkin pies
- Whipped cream
- Medium or heavy weight dinner plates
- Heavy weight cutlery
- Dinner napkins
- Dessert plates
- Heavy weigh cups
- Sage
